Independence Day 

We celebrate  Independence Day on the 11th

of November.

This is a national holiday.

Poland gained the independence in 1918 (the

end of World

War I). Before Poland was partitioned and

ruled by Russia,

Prussia and Austria for 123 years.

In school we had a special assembly.
