Easter is the oldest Christian holiday.

A whole week before Easter is Holly Week.

Exactly 7 days before the celebration of the 

resurrection, on Sunday people in Poland

go to the church with palms.

This sunday is called Palm Sunday.

Palms are handmade.

They are made of tree branches and decorated with flowers

usually made of tissue paper.

They are the symbol of rebirth.

In the church during a Mass a priest blesses palms.
